It is extremely important to your Executive Board to be fiscally responsible and transparent.

 

Each year we construct a budget of which we believe to be thrifty, but also allows us exceptional legal representation and member education.  The budget is prepared by the President and Treasurer and then presented to the Executive Board who will then recommend it to be reworked or sent on to the general membership body for a vote.

 

Quarterly reports are provided by the COBEA Treasurer and provided to the Executive Board.  Quarterly reports are available to any member at anytime.

 

Our By-Laws also require us to have the books professionally audited at least every two years or when a treasurer leaves office.  This Eboard has also chosen to form an internal Audit Committee who will audit the books yearly.
